KING TRUMPET COUNTERTOP KIT INSTRUCTIONS

King Trumpet Mushrooms

1. Find an area with indirect sunlight and indirect airflow to set up. King Trumpets prefer cooler temperatures in the 50-65 degree range.

2. Place the grow block in the green tray with the folded side down. Do not remove the block from the bag.

3. Use a sharp, clean knife to cut a 1 1/2 inch long “X” in the center of the bag. Let the blade sink about 1/4 inches into the grow block.

4. Gently lift the flaps created by the “X” and spray underneath 1x-2x on each side. Mist the inside of the humidity dome so that it is completely covered in condensation.

6. Your mushrooms should begin growing (pinning) within 10-20 days. Once your mushrooms begin to grow, remove the humidity dome. If it is especially dry in your home, you can avoid shocking the mushrooms by removing the dome during the day, and leaving it on at night for 1-2 days. This will ease the transition to the drier air.
