These sterilized 5-pound blocks come with an injection port for easy inoculation of your favorite variety. Our proprietary substrate blend of wheat straw, rye grains and calcium.

Ideal substrate base for oysters and pioppinos. These wheat straw pellets can be used on their own, or supplemented up to 30% with a higher nitrogen source input, like grains or soy hulls. Hydrated, 20lbs. of pellets will produce around six unsupplemented 10lb. fruiting blocks.
